he Japan Times visited Yamanashi Gakuin at the foot of Japan’s most majestic mountain, Mt. Fuji. The educational institution offers excellent academic programs from preschool to university. After seeing its modern campus and meeting its distinguished faculty, we believe this is one of the most innovative educational institutions in the world and has the ability to harness the potential of today’s youth. Yamanashi Gakuin comprises educational institutions beginning at preschool all the way through to higher education. This allows all the programs to be integrated and have the flexibility to accom-modate student needs while main-taining rigorous standards. Students here also have opportu-nities to gain real-world experi-ence through interactions with local businesses and the public sector. The institution’s legacy in college sports is unparalleled. The advanced on-campus sports facili-ties are used to train world-class athletes. The school has sent 53 athletes to the Olympic Games throughout its history, including the most recent PyeongChang 2018 Games. Yamanashi Gakuin aims to pro-vide an even better education through the establishment of the renewed Faculty of Business Ad-ministration, which offers a further enhanced curriculum. Here, we will be introducing Yamanashi Gakuin from its founding spirit to new challenges.03Tmes
