? ? ② Graduation Research Project (GRP) ① Seminar ? For further details, refer to the separate Study Abroad Guide. (7) Seminar and Graduation Research Project (GRP) In ‘Seminar’, students work under the supervision of their advisor to integrate diverse academic knowledge and skills learned from different courses to prepare a proposal for their ‘Graduation Research Project’. Students will be registered for the ‘Seminar’ course instructed by their academic advisor after completing the following requirements. To enroll in ‘Seminar’, students must have: Completed at least 6 semesters and earned a total of at least 82 credits If Study Abroad is required for graduation, completed Study Abroad and the credit transfer process Completed all required Foundation Courses other than the ‘Graduation Research Project’ and earned credit from at least 7 lecture courses (21 credits) that satisfy the major area requirement Students will write their ‘Graduation Research Project,’ the culmination of their studies, under the course instructor of their ‘Seminar’. The ‘Graduation Research Project’ will be graded after a review by 3 instructors. In principle, the ‘Graduation Research Project’ is taken in the final semester before graduation, and directly after completing ‘Seminar’. It is not possible to take ‘Seminar’ and the ‘Graduation Research Project’ during Study Abroad. Students should aim to improve their GPA and English language proficiency, as students who do not meet the standards above will have very limited options for Study Abroad universities. 22
